Crushed Stone Driveway
One of the greatest things about installing a crushed gravel driveway is that you’ll have plenty of options when selecting your materials. Most people use ¾” crushed rock in driveways. If your driveway has water drainage or mud issues you may use a larger size stone such as 1 ½” or vehicle tracking material. We recommend installing 2” of crushed gravel on driveways. At this depth, the stone packs better thus leaving less divets. Please note that river rocks and pea gravels are not good to use on driveways. This is because they are round and will move around and never pack well. Crushed rocks work well for not tracking mud and controlling water puddles. It does not work the best for plowing snow.

Road Base Driveway
Road Base is commonly used on driveways. This is because it packs well. Road Base also works well in smoothing out pot holes. If you are going deep with Road Base it is best to compact it every 2”. Please ask a sales representative about our large selection of base products that include Recycled Concrete, Recycled Asphalt, Rhyolite & Granite Bases. Road Bases work well for plowing snow but make sure base is graded and compacted well.
Paver Driveway
Concrete Pavers are an ideal choice for both residential and commercial driveways. Interlocking concrete pavers are a sensible and aesthetically attractive choice for all outdoor surfaces. The beauty of pavers adds value and visual appeal to any property. Ask a Sales Associate creating a beautiful driveway that you can enjoy for years to come.
